Have people had success with online affiliate programs. I have some ideas for some sites and how to attract some people to them. It targets a vertical. My thought was to run some ads linking to places that sell the products in question.
Before I go through the trouble of doing it, I wanted to hear some other people’s experiences. Thanks

Yes affiliate programs do work! Not all of them, not all the time and not all products… BUT YES it is possible to make money from affiliate marketing. Apply to an affiliate network that cArries the products you have in mind.
Sometimes more than 1 advertiser offers the same product. In this case compare carefully. Sometimes an advertiser has a higher payout but their page sucks and has very low conversion…
Sometimes an obscure advertiser might have a great product to offer with reasonable payout and you make money on the volume… Anyways. They are many many products and advertisers online. it is just a matter of finding the correct one, creating the right ads and targeting the right people and you are set!
