I like this building and I love this image. I hope you do too. It does make you ask the question ‘Why?’
Did they knock down the other buildings that this one was squeezed in to fill the space leaving it looking strangely inappropriate now? Maybe they should apply for Planning Permission to have the other half of the house built.
Love the house, the helmet, White Van Man and the lamppost so what’s to dislike.

I just thought this image of a small fishing boat against a darkening sky was beautiful enough to share with you all. I hope you agree.
It may be named after the flower Portulaca grandiflora or the owner may just be a Macclesfield Town supporter.

I found only one other picture of this on Flickr and no articles or information, even on Wikipedia, about it either so I am at a loss to tell you the story behind it or the artist responsible for it. All i can tell you is that I thought interesting enough to take a picture of it and share it with you. Since it is in itself slightly surreal I treated it in Photoshop to accentuate the colour and texture of it thereby, hopefully, bringing out its surreal qualities. I hope you like it as I do.
